Here in Newcastle and Northumberland we follow in the footsteps of some of the great Christian pilgrims who were among the very first to travel the breadth of this remote kingdom sharing their faith in the "Good News of Jesus ".
Our region may now be somewhat changed from then, but our aim is to continue the work of those first pilgrims and help nurture our Christian faith through a wide range of ministries in our parishes, churches and organisations, and in the wider community.
The Christian faith has existed since the time that Jesus Christ was on earth and to this day it is shared by countless millions of followers throughout the world.
