One of the Diocesan priorities established in 2004, is that we should work towards encouraging all Christians to explore their vocation in the widest possible sense. ‘Vocation’ is so often understood narrowly as ‘a calling to ordination’ – but it is far wider than that. All Christians are called by God, called to respond to God’s never-ending love, called to serve God in their lives.
