New Adviser for Women’s Ministry
Bishop Martin is pleased to announce that from the 1st June 2011 Sheila Bamber is the new Adviser for Women’s Ministry in the Diocese of Newcastle.
Sheila is a Canon Residentiary at our Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, where she has particular responsibility for learning and education.
Sheila came to us from Durham Diocese, where she has also held to post of Women’s Adviser. She has been ordained for fifteen years, and prior to this she was the manager of a housing association in Middlesborough. For more information about Sheila please click here.
