The great Alston Aspire launch brings smiles all round

'The South Court' - the newly-created space in the south aisle of St Augustine's Church, Alston, is hosting a fantastic art exhibition to mark the 1st August launch of the 'Alston Aspire' project.

Alston Aspire sets out to transform St Augustine’s Church, Alston into a multi-use building hosting community events as well as worship.

The exhibition is just the beginning of a feast of fun and community events involving food, craft workshops, more art, jazz and brass music, poetry, heritage and ‘lots of other stuff’ too.

"Come and join us. Get involved!" says Alston Aspire and Andrew Duff of Inspired North East.
