RETIRED CLERGY LUNCH:
Newcastle Cathedral have kindly agreed to host the Annual Easter Wednesday Lunch (12 for 12.30pm on April 15) for the retired clergy, spouses and widows whilst Shepherds Dene is closed for renovations. This will include a glass of wine as usual. If you would like to come please send a cheque for £10 before April 3 to Gwenda Gofton, 4 Crossfell, Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne NE20 9EA. Please make cheques payable to Newcastle Cathedral

Does anyone need an electric organ ? Good condition church electric organ (the Bentley) is going free to a good home. The organ can be seen in Morpeth. Tel John Roberts on 01289 387342 for further details.

The Revd. Helen Arnold is to be Curate of St. James and St. Basil Fenham

The Revd. Tim Ferguson, Curate of Ponteland, is to be Team Vicar in the Benwell Team i/c of The Venerable Bede.

The Revd. Stephen Hewitt, Vicar of High Spen and Rowlands Gill in the Diocese of Durham is to be Team Rector of Cramlington.

Canon Peter Kenney, Priest in Charge of Gosforth St. Hugh and Pastoral Care and Counselling Adviser is to be Priest in Charge of Holy Nativity Chapel House and remain as Diocesan Pastoral Care and Counselling Adviser.

The Revd. Terry Moat, Curate of Morpeth is to be Vicar of Choppington

The Revd. Peter Thorn, Priest in Charge of Tweedmouth is to be Priest in Charge of Claydon and Barham, with Gt. Blakenham and Henley in the Diocese of St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

The Revd. Dorothy Weetman, Ordained Local Minister in Prudhoe is to retire.
