St Mary'S Longframlington, NE65 8DL
Welcome to St Mary's, the parish church for Longframlington with Brinkburn, with its Grade 1 listed church building, dating back over 800 years. Our active 21st century congregation, keen to share the love of God near and far, is based in the church and its adjoining Community Room. Just like our village, St Mary's includes both Northumbrians and those who have moved to the area to work or to retire.
Like the rest of the country, we are currently restricted in what we can do on site because of COVID-19, but as restrictions are eased we are able to start using the buildings again.
From the beginning of October we have a service of Holy Communion in church every Sunday morning at 09:20, and a service of Morning Prayer on a Wednesday morning at 09:30. In addition, a service is streamed from our sister church in Felton every Sunday morning, with the recording available online afterwards. The online services and recordings can be found through links on this website.
Whether you visit the building for a service or to pray in private, join one of our on-site or online services, or merely stop a while, we bid you a very warm welcome. We’d love to meet you and get to know you! Please feel free to explore this website and our church building - and then to get in touch and ask any questions - however profound or trivial!
The parish of Longframlington with Brinkburn is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Holy Communion following the modern Common Worship service from the Church of England. The service from 4th October 2020 will be live at St Mary's.
A simple, family-friendly service accessible to all. However, all services in church have been suspended during the coronavirus epidemic. See separate information on this website about arrangements for worship from our homes during this period
Streamed Morning Service
Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic a weekly service has been shared online each Sunday morning, and we have gathered a faithful online congregation from near and far who were not previously regulars at St Mary's. Now that we again have some regular services in the church building we believe it is important to continue our online presence, and this is being done through a live service streamed every Sunday morning at 11:00, EXCEPT IT IS 10:30 ON REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 8TH NOVEMBER with the recording available online thereafter. Initially the streamed services will come from St Michael's Felton, but we hope that before too long some of the St Mary's people will be part of these services and that in time some will be streamed from St Mary's here in Longframlington.
The weekly pew sheet with the Sunday readings is posted each week in the News and Notices section of this website. The "More about this Event" button below will take you to the YouTube channel where you will find the service and other services from the recent past.
We continue the pattern established during lockdown, but since 15th July we have been meeting in St Mary's rather than by phone. The attachment is the order of service we follow - if you can print it or read it from your phone that eliminates any danger of infection being transmitted on printed copies
