Zoom event: Bread of Life in Broken Britain, Tuesday 30th June - 1-2.30

In this Conversation Charles Roding Pemberton, Lecturer in Political Theology at Durham University, will be discussing his new book Bread of Life in Broken Britain: Foodbanks, Faith and Neoliberalism with RRC Director Karenza Passmore.

Charles will be discussing:

Food insecurity is rife in the UK:

  • What areas around faith and food insecurity needed more research and how did Charles' research attempt to address that?
  • What particular strengths and limitations do Christians have in relation to food banking/food insecurity?
  • If 'precariousness' is the real problem, what is the answer?

To join, reserve your place today by emailing enquiries@resourcescentreonline.co.uk. Places are limited. Participants will receive details on how to join the Zoom chat once their place has been confirmed.
