14 November - The Venerable Dr Catherine Sourbut Groves was collated by Bishop Christine at a special Zoom service online on Saturday 14 November. Originally, the ceremony was due to take place in person at St Aidan’s Church in Bamburgh, but plans had to be adapted following the announcement of a second national lockdown.

St Mary's Longframlington host their first Warm Hub lunch


St Mary's Church, in the village of Longframlington, hosted their first Warm Hub lunch, providing a warm and friendly welcome, a hot meal and good company to members of the community, who were also able to access advice on how to lower their energy bills.

Every Sunday, the Reverend Emma Duff can be found taking the service at her church, St John the Evangelist in Wallsend. On most other days, Emma is found doing something very different - swimming in the North Sea. She says her passion for the wild open water inspires her faith. Roderick Stuart joined her on King Edward's Bay, Tynemouth where she regularly can be found with friends enjoying the beautiful open water.

The Revd Benjamin Carter, vicar of Haydon Bridge and Beltingham with Henshaw, talks about pitching God's Tent, best described as an eye-catching mobile prayer space and a new way of doing church, at three of our rural schools. It is the first time the tent has been taken into schools and over three days, it pitched up at Church of England schools in Henshaw, Newbrough and Greenhead.
