Voluntary trustees - North East Religious Resources Centre

The North East Religious Resources Centre is recruiting new trustees

The NERLC is a small charity which has been providing resources and support for all aspects of religious learning across the North East for 50 years.  It is a registered charity operated as a company limited by guarantee.  The NERLC is a Christian charity that supports religious education in schools, churches and theological institutions in the region by the loaning of resources and providing support.

As a trustee/company director, you will work as part of our board to oversee the running of the charity and its future direction. Board meetings happen 4 times each year and we hope that Trustees would also be willing to join one of our working groups.  Expenses are paid.

We are particularly keen to have applications from people who have experience of one or more of the following, but would be happy to hear from anyone who is interested and keen to support the Resources Centre.

  • Experience of working in the field of Religious Education/Learning
  • Finance (Treasurer)
  • Business skills (HR, marketing, digital)
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion

To find out more about joining the Board, please contact the Chair, Joanne Thorns by email, joanne.thorns@durham.anglican.org to find out more information.
