    There are over 60,000 students in Newcastle. The Student Worker will be responsible for working alongside students at Universities and Colleges in Newcastle, sharing the good news of Jesus with them and helping university students to be all that God is calling them to be in Jesus. The successful candidate will help to develop and deliver a vision for student leadership, discipleship and mission and will encourage students to engage with the Church (and vice versa) and support innovative mission and church planting amongst students.

    Applicants must have experience of working with young people, ideally in a church context, be pioneering and be able to build trusting relationships and friendships with students; working alongside them to help them grow and find faith.

    A passion for Jesus and his church combined with an ability to live by and encourage the vision and values of the Resource Church is important.
