Lessons Learned Review: William Scott Farrell

An Independent Overview Report reviewing the recruitment and appointment of William Scott Farrell at three English cathedrals has been published.

In August 2019, Farrell was jailed for five years for sexual offences committed while employed by the cathedrals in Ely and Rochester. The review also relates to his time employed by Newcastle Cathedral between 2002 and 2008 as Director of Music.
