Safeguarding Training

The Diocese of Newcastle offers in-house Safeguarding Training of all core training pathways, in line with the Church of England.

In-person training is our preferred method of delivery for the Basic Awareness, Foundation and Raising Awareness of Domestic Abuse pathways. In addition, we can also deliver Safer Recruitment & People Management, and Parish Safeguarding Officer Induction Courses, and courses for those with Permission to Officiate. These can be booked by contacting safeguarding@newcastle.anglican.org, or 0191 270 4105.

Furthermore, these courses are available for individuals to complete in their own time through the Church of England Safeguarding Training Portal: https://safeguardingtraining.cofeportal.org/
