Giving this Advent and Christmas

Digital Giving Campaigns for 2025

Advent and Christmas provide a powerful opportunity to encourage giving in your church. The great joy of Christmas, of course, is the good news the angel declared to the shepherds – the news of Jesus’ birth as Emmanuel (God With Us). This theme is a great opportunity to encourage generosity as a joyful response to God’s gift of Jesus.

In line with the Church of England’s Christmas theme of Joy, you can now download a branded campaigns to use on your contactless devices, which can be personalised for your church using these Canva template links.

Clergy Webinar

All clergy are invited to a webinar, run by the National Giving Team, designed to help equip clergy in celebrating and encouraging giving and generosity over Christmas. In this one hour session the team will cover why talking about giving and generosity is important at Christmas, and how to do it well with our congregations and visitors over the festive period. There will also be lots of practical ideas to take away to put into practice.

A Reflection on Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday invites us to pause. As the desperate quest to find the perfect gift begins and lists grow longer, we’re offered a moment to ask a different question: how can we bring God’s generosity into this season?

Head over to Stewardship to check out their Giving Tuesday blog and discover ways you could take part this year.
