Supporting Church Buildings in the Diocese of Newcastle
There are a number of support packages available to enhance church facilities and supporting mission driven community engagement. Further details of each fund, including application forms and deadlines can be found by visiting our dedicated Church Buildings Support web page.
Parish Resources
Parish Resources have developed guides to help parishes raise funds for large fundraising appeals (building projects) as well as funding the ongoing mission of the church. Additionally, they have produced a booklet of national charitable grants available to churches. Please note, this is a national list and therefore contains no information about local funders. We recommend using the Cornerstone Grants Database for the widest selection of funding available.

Fundraising for Enviromental Projects
The National Church provides advice on possible sources of funding for projects to reduce carbon emissions. It also gives advice on how to approach those funders in a way most likely to succeed. The advice focusses on Net Zero Carbon projects, but applies more widely to other environmental projects, and also to any building project which will reduce carbon emissions as part of what it aims to achieve, such as a new lighting scheme or major reordering.
