Click here to access your Parish Dashboard and Hub
(both tools are available from the same website)
- Every parish in the Diocese of Newcastle is required to use the Safeguarding Parish Dashboard to track their safeguarding practice.
- The Safeguarding Hub is not mandated in the same way as the Dashboard, but we highly recommend the use of both systems together, to help keep your safeguarding activity within one place as far as possible.
- Please note that, in order to have access to this system, your parish will need to formally invite you through an email notification, in order to set up an account.
- If a parish requires support with getting someone set up, please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team on safeguarding@newcastle.anglican.org – our team can offer one-to-one introductory sessions to anyone using this platform, either in person or online.
Safeguarding Parish Dashboard
The Parish Safeguarding Dashboard is a simple to use, online tool that helps you keep track of safeguarding in your church and keeps you up-to-date with local and national changes in safeguarding requirements. The system was developed by Clearly Simpler Limited for use throughout the Church of England.
Watch a video or download a brochure to quickly discover the benefits for Clergy, Parish Safeguarding Officers and PCCs.
- Every Parish in the Diocese of Newcastle is required to use the Safeguarding Parish Dashboard to track their safeguarding practice.
- Safeguarding Parish Dashboards should be regularly updated, and should not fall below 80% progress without prior discussion with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team regarding any issues.
How do I get set up on my Parish Dashboard?
‘Owners’ of your Parish Dashboard (usually your Clergy Incumbent and Parish Safeguarding Officer) have the power to invite new users to their Dashboard. Users can be invited either as an ‘owner’ (full editing rights) or as a ‘viewer’ (without editing rights).
If a parish requires assistance to invite a new user to their Dashboard, or change their access, contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team on safeguarding@newcastle.anglican.org, who can help with account administration on this platform.
