Church communities joined together for a vigil to pray for peace in Ukraine and across the world.
St Cuthbert's Church in Allendale hosted the vigil, which saw Ukrainian families join together with people from Quaker, Roman Catholic, Anglican, Community Church, Methodist, Buddhist and Baháʼí communities.
The Revd Martin Naylor, Priest-in-Charge of Allendale with Whitfield and Ninebanks, said: "We gave thanks for our communities of different faiths and beliefs in the Allen Valleys. We reflected on how much we have in common and that peace with justice thrives where there is no division."
The vigil was organised by Allen Valleys Churches Together.
