Last night, many people gathered together at Duke’s Secondary School in Ashington for an evening of celebration and reflection as Beyond Youth marked their first anniversary.
From 9 October to 23 November, Hexham Abbey will play host to ‘Threads through Creation’, a stunning exhibition of twelve enormous, embroidered silk panels which explore the story of Creation in the Bible.
Many churches often pause their regular activities during the school holidays. This year, Church of the Good Shepherd in Battle Hill decided to use this opportunity to reach out to their local community in new ways.
In a bid to reach members of their local community, St. Michael and All Angels in Newburn organised a special open day.
Sea Sunday is a day for us all to focus on the people who work at sea – remembering those no longer with us and praying for the seafarers and fishermen of today.
This week, Hexham Abbey welcomed licensed clergy from the diocese for a two-day retreat, led by Canon Dr Paula Gooder, Chancellor of St Paul's Cathedral.
160 Year 4 children, five primary schools, two days of drama, craft and prayer workshops and an insight into the life of St Aidan can only mean one thing: Lifepath returns to Holy Trinity Jesmond.
Five of our new deacons were ordained at Newcastle Cathedral this afternoon by Bishop Helen-Ann.
There was great joy at Newcastle Cathedral earlier today as three new priests were ordained by Bishop Mark.
