We are the Diocese of Newcastle, proud to be the Church of England's northernmost diocese and framed between the rivers Tyne and Tweed. We have 237 churches serving 169 parishes in 12 deaneries.

From our Street Pastors to our support of Foodbanks, we are at the heart of many projects helping to transform and enhance people's lives in all our urban and rural communities.

We are proud to be one of the largest providers of schools in our region, ensuring our children have the best possible education to give them the brightest start in life.
